Deputy Governor Meets Kakamega Women Leaders

Kakamega Deputy Governor H.E Hon. Prof. Philip Museve Kutima Wednesday afternoon held a closed door meeting with women leaders from Kakamega County drawn from all the 12 Sub-Counties.

The women under the umbrella “Kakamega County Women League” led by Madam Lucy Katumanga have thrown their weight behind Prof. Kutima who is eyeing the 2022 Kakamega County’s top seat.

Prof. Kutima appreciated the women for their kind gesture and called on them to rally their counterparts from all the 60 wards behind his candidature.

“The people of this great County of Kakamega deserve the best. I am the only experienced and most willing candidate fit to steer Kakamega to the top in Kenya’s dovolved governance,” said Prof. Kutima.

The Deputy Governor is preparing to succeed H.E the Governor Dr. FCPA Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya when the latter’s term comes to an end in 2022.
