Mediheal group of hospitals has it’s branches in Kenya and Rwanda. In Kenya,it’s located in four counties namely: Nairobi (Parklands,Upper Hill and Eastleigh), Nakuru town(3 branches),Eldoret(Nandi Road and town) and now Kakamega town(Holden mall).
Mediheal hospital Kakamega offers outpatient services but has 24hours standby ambulances that can help rush patients who need inpatient services to other branches.
The institution allows payment in cash or by the use of medical insurance except NHIF but will soon be NHIF accredited.
Mediheal hospital Kakamega has special clinics ongoing and the schedule is as follows;
- Tuesday,Friday -Gynaecologist
- Thursday,Saturday- Paediatrics
- Friday – orthopaedic (Bones,muscle and joints)
- Saturday – Cancer
Furthermore, the hospital has a fully equipped pharmacy where people can buy drugs prescribed to them by doctors from other hospitals over the counter. Patients are advised to always provide past records and history of the illness for better services. They should not wait until it’s late for them to visit the doctor.
