Motorcyclists using the St. Johns Kiberenge road in Trans Nzoia County have lamented the poor condition of the road, which they claim has made traveling extremely challenging. The motorcyclists, who are mainly students, have expressed their frustration at the state of the road, which they use daily to commute to school.

According to the motorcyclists, the road has become extremely rough and has been rendered impassable, especially during heavy rainfall. They have called on the relevant authorities and leaders to take immediate action to repair the road, citing the negative impact it has on their daily lives.

“We are suffering a lot due to the poor state of this road,” said one of the motorcyclists. “It’s not only us motorcyclists who are affected, but also students who use this road to go to school. We implore our leaders and officials to take action and fix this road as soon as possible.”

The motorcyclists have appealed to their representatives in parliament and county officials to prioritize the repair of the road, which they say is in a deplorable state. They warned that if nothing is done, the situation will continue to worsen, causing further inconvenience to commuters.

The situation is expected to worsen during the rainy season, as the heavy rainfall exacerbates the poor condition of the road. The motorcyclists are therefore calling on authorities to take immediate action to repair the road and ensure that it is safe for use by all commuters.
