A Ksh.60 million reward has been offered to anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects who escaped from Kamiti Maximum Prison on Monday morning.

According to the DCI, Musharaf Abdalla, Mohamed Ali Abikar and Joseph Juma Odhiambo escaped from the prison at around 1am. It is not clear how the three made their way out of the highly guarded facility.

Mohamed Ali Abikar was arrested following his involvement with the April 2, 2015, Garissa terror attack.

Joseph Juma Odhiambo was arrested on November 20, 2019 while attempting to enlist with the Al Shabaab terror group in Somalia. He hails from Lukoye area Kakamega County.
