Baptist church lead clergy Clapperton Mchanga, has urged leaders in the country to be united as we head towards the general election next year.

Speaking at a prayer ceremony at his church in bungoma, the pastor lamented the plight of political leaders of the country’s top personalities who continue to witness him as he fears that he may be in the dark.

Clapperton says that it is the responsibility of every leader to respect their opponents’ agenda observing that that party politics were designed to bring unity and democracy or not divide the countries as it says so

The servant of God also used the opportunity to warn his fellow religious leaders and young people against participation in religious politics and abuse as another way to reduce the political heat.

Lately, leaders including Deputy President William Samoei Ruto and Interior Cabinet Secretary, Fred Matiangi have disagreed in public a trend which Clapperton says is meant to rise as we come closer to the 2022 general elections.
