As the schools close for second term to pave way for christmas and end year celebrations, a call has been made for parents to embrace and nurture their children’s talents as one way to motivate them to thrive even more in the future.

Addressing members of the forth estate shortly after the school’s inaugural ceremony of Kibabii talent academy, the director Mr Omari Mabonga reassured parents not to worry about their children’s talents while reiterating that the concept of talent affects lessons is outdated.

Mr Mabonga also said that the main issue before them is to ensure that when the schools open for third term next month, the teachers will be well prepared to complete the syllabus on time.

With regards to the short December holiday Mr. Mabonga cautioned parents to be cautious saying that some students might take advantage of this temporary opportunity to indulge in activities that could harm them in the future.

At the same time the Director has used the opportunity to wish parents, teachers and all students in the country a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Its key to note that the Kibabii talent academy is one of the few schools that offer talent education and marketing. In addition to talent, the school is also one of the primary schools in the whole of Bungoma County achieving excellent results year after year.
