The Trans Nzoia County Nurses’ Union has decided to suspend their planned strike, which was set to commence this week. This decision comes after the union leadership engaged in fruitful discussions with the Trans Nzoia County government. Both parties reached a consensus that aims to address the nurses’ concerns and improve their working conditions.
Furthermore, the union has issued a warning indicating that they may resume the strike should their demands not be met within the next 60 days.
