The Deputy Principal of Chombeli Technical and Vocational College, Ms.Millicent Mabeta,has urged the public to support technical institutions,saying they equip young people with practical skills for employment and self-reliance
Speaking at the college,Ms.Mabeta said many of its graduates have secured jobs or started businesses after acquiring technical skills
She added that the institution offers a variety of market-driven courses to prepare learners for the job market
She also called on parents and other stakeholders to support technical education,emphasizing that TVET institutions help nurture talent and build a strong foundation for young people’s future
