Higher Education and Research Principal Secretary Beatrice Inyangala has been thrown into a state of mourning following the death of her brother.
Taking to her official Twitter handle on the morning of Wednesday, May 17, Inyangala revealed that her brother died after being involved in a road accident.
Until his death, Muganda was the Maendeleo Democratic Party leader.
Kakamega County Governor Hon. Fernandes Barasa paid his tribute to the Maendeleo Democratic Party leader saying that it was unfortunate that they had lost a dedicated leader who was at the forefront in championing for the rights of the minority communities.
In a statement, Barasa said “Muganda will be remembered for his unwavering political stand from the time of his representation as Councilor in the defunct Local Authorities to the era of Devolved Government. He was a charismatic leader who inspired people around him,”
According to residents where Hon Muganda hails from, they have received the news with shock saying that they have lost a leader who worked tirelessly to see to it that the issues of the minority communities were well addressed.
