Former director of the Agricultural Farmers Corporation, AFC farmers’ credit union Lucas Meso has joined other Busia County officials in defending statements from some party leaders in the country publicly announcing that they would prefer some politicians to fly their party flag for the 2022 governorship in Busia.
Expressing dissatisfaction with remarks of ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna and Innocent Oluku of Busia, Meso says the people of Busia are vigilant and will not allow themselves be pressured by party leaders to elect leaders who are incapable of acting properly.
He was addressing Pasama members in Otimong area, Teso sub-county south when he handed over a tent, urging them to take part in the ongoing registration exercise across the country while also boasting that he was the right person to replace Governor Ojaamong based on his experience.
