Dr. Donald Keya Manyala has been approved as the new Clerk of the County Assembly of Kakamega, marking a change in leadership as he succeeds the outgoing Acting Clerk, Ms. Esther Ariko Akoth. Dr. Keya is the third individual to assume this role, following Emeritus Patrick Kamwessar and CPA Laban Atemba.

His extensive experience in various roles, including serving as Chief Research Officer and Policy Analyst at the National Assembly of Kenya, further strengthens his ability to lead the Assembly effectively.
