Communication Authority Director Ezra Chiloba has resigned. In a letter addressed to the Chairperson of the CA Board of Director, Ms. Mary Mungai, dated 18th October 2023. Ms. Mungai thanked Mr. Chiloba for his distinguished contribution to the CA and the ICT sector, extending best wishes to the outgoing DG.
“On behalf of the authority, I wish the outgoing director success in his future endeavors and appreciate his invaluable contribution to the organization and the wider ICT sector, “said the CA Board chairperson.
Mr Chiloba served as Director General for two years having been appointed in October 2021.
Until his resignation, the outgoing CA director General had been suspended by the agency due to conflict of interest and alleged corrupt practices.
