In a solemn church service at St. Monica Section 58, Nakuru County Deputy Governor H.E. David Kones led a delegation from the county government in a heartfelt message of condolence on behalf of H.E. Governor Susan Kihika to the grieving family of the late former Assistant Minister Koigi Wa Wamwere. The service was a poignant occasion to pay tribute to the remarkable life of Mama Monica Wangu Wamwere.

Deputy Governor Kones spoke about Mama Monica’s exceptional resilience, acknowledging that her unwavering support and guidance were pivotal in Koigi Wamwere’s rise to a prominent leadership position. He highlighted the profound influence that mothers hold in their children’s lives, underscoring the power of prayer and encouragement. In this, he urged fellow Kenyans to draw inspiration from Mama Monica’s exemplary deeds and aspire to leave a positive and enduring legacy for future generations.

The deputy governor also made a commitment on behalf of the county government, assuring the grieving family that they would receive unwavering support during this difficult time. He emphasized that Governor Susan Kihika held Koigi Wamwere in high regard
