It was joy and happiness to the 102.2 Lubao Fm Fans Umbrella as they received a Kshs. 300,000 donation from Kakamega County Women Representative, Elsie Muhanda. During the event held at Tumaini PAG church, Okumu village, South kabras in Malava constituency Hon. Muhanda urged the members to make good use of the donation so as to uplift their livelihoods.
On their part, the Umbrella expressed their satisfaction with the donation from Hon. Elsie terming it a great contribution in aiding them achieve their goals. Through the Groups chairman, Nelson Andanje, the group pledged their support to the women terming her as a great leader who was quick to respond to needs of the people she serves.
The kshs. 300,000 donation included Kshs. 100,000 bursasy for needy students whose parents are in the fans umbrella, ksh. 100,000 full tent that will aid the group during various ceremonies as well as hiring to boost their income and the other kshs. 100,000 for the groups’ projects.
