Equity Bank Group aims at enhancing trade relations between the Government of Kenya and the DRC Government by conducting a 14-day Business Trade Mission in DRC. The Trade mission targets more than 200 investors and business participants from Kenya which will be held in major cities including Kinshasa Lubumbashi, Goma and Mbuji Mayi.
During the trade Fair, selected participants will exhibit the region and understand why the region is favorable for cross border trade.DRC has 11 major economic transport corridors that facilitate trade flows in the region while connecting with Central Africa, Southern Africa, and a part of East Africa.

Other requirements for the trade mission are also available on the page such as travel packs, the experience as well as well information packs. The initiative is a result of an agreement between President Uhuru Kenyatta and President Felix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo in April.
The two signed bilateral agreements between Kenya and the DRC aimed at enhancing trade and the movement of people and goods. DRC is the sixth leading export destination for Kenyan products in the world with agricultural and manufactured goods topping the list.
The Trade Mission will be between 29th November and 13th December 2021.
