Residents of the Shinyalu and Malava constituencies in Kakamega County have accessed a specialized cancer screening program organized by Assistant Chief Joshua Ligavo of Ivakale sub-location, Isukha North ward. This initiative, conducted in partnership with Kakamega County Referral Hospital and Masinde Muliro Medical College, was held at the Kambiri conference hall.

The screening session attracted a significant number of residents, all thanks to Assistant Chief Joshua Ligavo’s meticulous planning. The community members commended him for his dedication to their well-being, noting his recent efforts in arranging agricultural training sessions in Bukura.

Assistant Chief Joshua Ligavo extended his appreciation to the management of Kakamega County Referral Hospital and Masinde Muliro Medical College for their collaboration and for sending doctors to carry out the screenings.

This commendable initiative led by Assistant Chief Joshua Ligavo received positive feedback from the inhabitants of Shinyalu and Malava , underscoring the significance of community health programs in rural settings.
