Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang’ula has called on the public to exercise patience as the government works towards enhancing the economy, despite the current hardships. Speaking at a fundraising event at Chavakali High School, Wetang’ula acknowledged the prevailing economic challenges in the country but assured citizens that measures are being taken to address them.

The Ford Kenya Party Leader called for collective prosperity by pooling resources together to support common interest groups. Lugari MP Nabii Nabwera echoed the need for mutual respect among leaders, emphasizing the importance of setting aside party affiliations for the greater good of the people. He encouraged the western region legislators to unite behind Wetang’ula as a leader in their political journey.

Sabatia MP Clement Sloya highlighted the progress in fulfilling his campaign promises, particularly focusing on economic empowerment for women and youth. He stressed the need for politicians to work together to uplift the living standards of the community. The event aimed to raise funds for the Sabatia Empowerment Initiative, showing a collective effort towards improving the socio-economic conditions in the region.
