As the 2021 Annual Devolution conference kicks off in Makueni today, several leaders from the region have come up with mechanisms to market the locally produced products in the various erected stands at the conference.
This initiative is aimed at ensuring that the participants are able to exhibit the capabilities the counties have in manufacturing quality goods as we aim to build Kenya, buy Kenya.
Through her Facebook Page, Kitui Governor, Charity Ngilu was keen to direct exhibitors to check locally manufactured school shoes, balls, belts as well as other valuable products made from leather in Kitui County.
The week long Devolution conference is the last one under the current regime and among the various topics they aim to discuss includes the state of devolution, the gains as well as what needs to be improved.
