Governors from the Lake Region have hosted Ambassador of Sweden to Kenya, H.E Caroline Vicini at the Kakamega, County Government Headquarters.
Their bilateral talks touched on areas of partnership and investment especially in the realization of key infrastructural projects, creation of employment opportunities, Education and Trade.
They also deliberated on creating linkages and partnerships in private sector commerce between Lake region counties and the Swedish Government.
H.E Caroline Vacini is in Kakamega for the official opening of the Kakamega county Fish processing plant.
Those present included CS Devolution, Hon. Eugene Wamalwa, Governors; H.E Wycliffe Oparanya (Kakamega), H.E Wycliffe Wangamati (Bungoma), H.E James Ongwae (Kisii), H.E Wilberforce Otichilo (Vihiga), H.E Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o (Kisumu), H.E Patrick Khaemba (Trans Nzoia), Deputy Governors and National Government officials.
