The Kenyan government has reaffirmed its commitment in bolstering its economic and development ties with the United kingdom so as to achieve its international partnership goals and investment promotion.In a speech read during a high level investment forum in London, UK, National Treasury CS, Ukur Yatani said that the Kenyan government was keen on strengthening its ties with the UK now that a new model had been designed which was simple, friendly and one that does not allow compromise on governance.

In a move to market the country overseas, the CS was keen to single out the great strides the country had developed including the Nairobi International Financial Centre that will make the nation stand out as a unique financial hub in the continent. among the notable innovation that the Mr. Yatani singled out include the M-Pesa innovation in the mobile money platform that has place the country on global innovation arena and calle upon the UK dignitaries to provide a serene and accomodative space so that the kenyan government can partner. CS Ukur Yatani had accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta on state visit to the United Kingdom.
