Residents of Shinyalu constituency have been urged to ensure that their students go back to school as schools re-open for their first term of the year 2021. Isukha North MCA, Elimina Llanziva has urged parents to exhaust all the available avenues to get school fees for their children as they await bursaries from the county government and the national government through CDF.

Speaking during the final send off of Mr. Charles Shitote Lumasai at Bukhaywa village in Buyangu sub-location, Mrs. Lanziva urged parents to wait longer for bursaries from the county government as the IFMIS system is derailing the disbursement of the funds.

Reiterating the same, lubao sub-location assistant Chief Mrs. Sulvey Shihafu warned parents that there was a planned crackdown on all non-going students as parents were hiding behind pretence that students had either completed Grade 4 or Standard 8 and were awaiting to join Grade 5 and Form One. Mrs. Sulvey advised residents to prepare for an economically difficult period next year due to the fourth coming election as people will be up and down campaigning putting little or no effort at all in farm work.
