ODM Leader Raila Odinga hold hands with Vihiga County Governor Wilber Otichilo and His Deputy Patrick Saisi. A show that they have burried their differences.

Peace and unity is the main message that was shared among leaders during the final send off of Mrs Ashura Saisi wife to the deputy governor of vihiga county, Patrick Saisi.

In a service attended by Odm party leader Raila Odinga, vihiga governor Wilber Ottichilo and Kakamega County Governor Wycliffe Oparanya among other leaders.

Various leaders from vihiga including ward representatives and MPs urged Odm party leader Raila Odinga to unite the vihiga governor and his deputy who had differences of leadership a vice that had crippled the county’s development agenda.

It is a call that governor ottichilo unanimously accepted and apologized to his deputy and asked him to work with him to advance the development agenda.

On his part, the deputy governor mourned the loss of his wife by pouring praise on her as a great pillar that the family had lost.

The call to bring the two county heads together was reckoned by kakamega county governor wycliffe Oparanya urging them to bury their political differences and make the people of Vihiga prosperous

However, oparanya ignored the call for Mulembe leaders to unite without involving other communities to take over the leadership of this nation in the next general election, saying that will not be possible.

However, he urged leaders not to get involved in politics during President Uhuru Kenyatta’s visit to Kenya’s western region, which could prompt the president to boycott the visit and negatively affect the western Kenya development agenda.

in a show that signified a new dawn for the leadership of Vihiga county government, Governor Otichilo and his deputy, Dr. Patrick Saisi buried their different under the guidance of  ODM party chief Raila Odinga through a handshake.
